  • In a fully die-cast aluminum radiator, each fin is made of A413 aluminum alloy bars and has a specific heating capacity (based on the temperature difference between the feed hot water and ambient temperature of the radiator location). The desired temperature can be obtained by selecting the appropriate number of fins.
  • Aluminum radiators have a larger contact surface with the ambient air compared to steel radiators. Moreover, they offer a better thermal conductivity due to their higher coefficient of thermal conductivity. A set of connected radiator fins is called a radiator block.
  • Under normal conditions and with a temperature difference of 60 ℃ between the ambient air and radiator feed water, each square meter of the surface of an aluminum radiator produces approximately 670 kcal of heat per hour.

Fully diecast radiators are produced by the highest grade production method. Each blade is manufactured on diecast mold as an integrated part and after test, finishing and painting, blades are connected to each other and packaged and offered as 5- , 7- , and 10 blades blocks. (To use radiator blocks with different number of blades, additional blades could be added to a block on installment site.)
Aluminum Radiator
Except in extruded or profile radiators such as Alfam or Crystal radiators in which the number of their blades are fixed and cannot be reduced or increased, number of blades can be changed in other diecast on installment place. For example to have a 15 bladed radiator block , one 5 bladed radiator and a 10 bladed radiator are connected to each other or to have a 20 bladed radiator two 10 bladed radiators are connected to each other on installment time.

Production method for diecast- extruded radiators is a combination of two mentioned methods. Upper and lower parts of each blade is produced by diecast method and its middle part is produced by extrusion and next The upper, middle and lower parts are connected to each other.

  • In winter,heat is transferred to indoor space of buildings by radiators but room temperature is usually constant and doesn’t increase because a great amount of generated heat is lost.
  • Heat loss occurs by two ways. One of them is heat loss through interfaces such as wall, floor, roof and window and the other one is the penetration of cold air through window seam. In other words this heat loss is inevitable.
    Of course by using double glazing UPVC windows and thermostatic valve on radiator heat loss can be reduced but it cannot be completely eliminated.
  • In spaces with high humidity, such as bathroom, usually aluminum radiator is used.
    Different types of aluminum radiators are mounted on wall under window and distance between every radiator block and floor is 10-12 cm.

  1. Considering dimensions of installment place and its heat loss, you can select number of required radiator blades based on shape, dimensions, and heat generating capacity of each radiator model.
  2. As usual we emphasize on precise calculation of thermal load of building by software and approval of calculation results by a HVAC engineer; in this case your expenses will be reduced.
  3. Note: normal distance between forward and backward warm water pipes of aluminum radiators that come out of the wall behind the radiator is 50 cm but before selection of radiator model it is better to recheck this distance.

  8. In time of selecting aluminum radiators, please select a model that in addition to having proper sealing and shape, has similar products in market so that if in future you need to buy a number of blades, you can find them easily and with low cost.
  9. The more is blade width, the more stylish and beautiful is radiator. Usually bladed aluminum radiator is provided in two widths: 6 and 8 cm. so it is better to use blades with 8 cm width.
  10. Please note that minimum distance between radiator block and wall (5 cm) and floor (10 cm) be observed because not observing these distances results in significant heating loss.
  11. As much as possible there should be nothing around radiators so that air circulates better and efficiency and thermal capacity of radiator is increased. Try to put all kinds of coverings and obstacles (such as curtain, furniture…) far from radiator.
  12. Providing towel warmer radiators in spaces such as bathroom and toilet in addition to reducing humidity and increasing health factors in them, is good for drying damp towels and clothes.
